OK recieved my hard copy of BF3 Limited edition.

Origin was installed and so i waited for my copy of BF3 to arrive.

Installation was hassle free. Game installs, i then proceed to attempt to play.

Now this is where i am really really frustrated.

The EA forums are going nuts and tbh i cant keep up with whats going on, so i thought i would post here, to get some sensible replies with reagrds to my issue.

I cant play or do anything when i click on multiplay/campaigin/Coop. Nothing works.
Really confused and angry tbh.

What have i done so far to help me.

Manual update of PB.
Uninstalled and installed again.
Drivers for GPUs are up to date 285.62.
PC is more than capable of running the game.
Firewalls all turned off in an attempt to gain access.
IE is my broswer.

Not sure what else i can do, any help much much appreciated please.

Regards

I had a problem where Origin did not like me using the 64 bit version of IE, so it would load up the main page but if clicking on any game links etc it would not work. When looking at the very top of the page it showed a coloured bar with the words this does not work with 64 bit version.

Also I had to install a game manager update that appeared bottom left of screen. Not sure any of these will help but it might be it.

Thanks for your returns, i have managed to get the game to actually now work, just having a few bf3.exe issues.

Updated direct X, and have nothing running in the background which seems to help stability.

I believe the patch installed :S LOL

How did you get it to work?

Bump.

A mate of mine just cannot get this game running, start Origin, log into Battlelog try to play any mode - Campaign, Co-op or Multiplayer and it just "sticks" on initializing, I have had him run Origin in "offline" mode and the campaign works, tried IE, Chrome & FF, uninstalled anti-virus, turned off firewall, forwarded ports, disabled UPnP the full monty, any help/ideas greatly appreciated as I am out of them :(
