BF3 in game frame rate

Hi
Does anyone know how to bring up the console and what I have to do to get the framerates displayed?

Press the ` key to the left of your number 1 key above Q. Then type render.drawfps 1

Or you can download BF3 settings editor and check the box next to 'Draw fps'.

I haven't seen this before, sounds good though. Are settings persistent with this? It gets a bit irritating having to type it in with new games.

If you have afterburner installed you can also use its OSD option to show FPS

Get FRAPS and set it so it launches on startup and then you can see your FPS in every game you play.

protip with the console.... don;t write out the whole commands... can use the [TAB] key to auto complete. but it only does it up to the next variable.

so for render.drawfps 1 you can press
` r [TAB] . d [TAB] 1

i think.... it's more useful for renderdevice.perfoverlayvisible/enable ah that's just annoying to type out xD
