Can we try and keep posts such as "the people dumb enough to keep playing this game" out of these threads. The fact is it is an inflammatory post - you all know that many people here play these games and it is completely unnecessary. Thanks

I dont think this is a inflammatory post,
but I gave up playing Battlefield 3 once they introduced the 'PLATINUM' package.

I loved Bad Company 2, put more hours into the game than any other, and I still am. So I can safely say Battlefield 3 hasn't exceeded expectations.

Completely different feel, I would say B3 feels like a 'pea shooter' experience to BC2. Then theres the adverts, the constant BUY me now?! No thanks. I did get up to 1.2 on Battlefield 3 - then realised its a waste of time - and stats!

Despite all the stat/unlock nonsense in BF3 and DICE pretty much trying to emulate everything that is wrong about the new COD generation of games, I'm still enjoying the game greatly (especially after the latest patch). I still think there's enough Battlefield in there for it to be enjoyable.

I also think the sniping in BF3 is one of the best things about it, so much fun!
