Just wanted to make a thread so people can see easier how to solve there stuttering.

I was getting nice fps but when I moved it was jerky.

Turn OFF Hyperthreading.

This will fix the problem, and has done for a lot of people I know with the Nehalem and Sandybridge CPU's.

Hope this helps anyone with this issue.

It is a fix as it stops the stuttering.

I'm a bit annoyed as I just payed more money on the 2600K thinking BF3 will use it (I'm sure I read somewhere that it does), but hopefully they will fix this issue, saves going into the bios to turn it on/off.

But when I turned it off the stuttering went straight away, now it is super smooth.

ive turned it off on my 2600k aswell and its defo helped but im still getting slight stuttering but i dont know if thats just lag...

I don't get stuttering with my i7 920 with hyperthreading on.

But that is probably because I have core parking turned off? Or I am just not getting/noticing it.

I have a 2600k and a gtx 580, no stutter here. Nvidia do know of this problem and are working on a fix for it for people having this problem.

I have a 2600k and a 560ti, I get stuttering. May give this a shot! Thanks, although like some have said, would be better if they provided a patch.
