Not to mention a properly working Sniper model including Windage and environmental effects on the bullet. A Range map/spotting scope would also be nice.
Assassination missions for snipers would be cool too. More points/bonuses for tracking down and killing an individual. This would hopefully keep snipers moving around towards objectives rather than staying in the same spot. The commander could pick the target even!

Why only one gamemode was included in BF2 is beyond me. And they had the cheek to taunt us with an actual drop down menu for game mode aswell!![]()
yeah i thought this was so stupid, one single game mode gets boring quick. i'd like to see creative new ideas, even something so simple as defend the commander, defend the bridge, team 1 has to get to other side of map with team 2 stopping them, more then 2 teams etc etc.
i'd also like to be inside more. iirc no level in bf2 was inside a building? and the only time you were inside in bf2142 was when in a titan.
Hmm, the battlefield series isnt a mil-sim and i think this would be too big a change.
The comander selecting targets for a squads sniper would be sweet though.
More jets and helicopters. Like, 20+ in the air at once. Oh and an AC-130.

Proper infantry combat, bf2's was a complete joke.
No retards bouncing around the map, prone needs to be either removed or slowed substantially to prevent the bf2 defacto infantry gimmick from coming back.
Tanks that don't take damage from going over rough terrain, last i checked theyre made for this, not going over totally smooth surfaces.
Get rid of being able to see name tags through smoke etc, what complete idiot thought that was a good idea?
And finally, the developers must take note of the significant improvements offered by PR, especially the effectiveness of team-work it gives.
- Scrappage of the points/unlocks system!
- Realistic damage received from grenades, factoring in distance from explosion.
- Realistic, consistent hit detection.
- Intractable terrain - destructible buildings, effective foliage, utilising the inside of buildings (operable doors etc).
- Asymmetrical warfare (PR had the idea, but it was executed poorly IMO, possibly limited by the game's mechanics though).
- AAS game mode.
- Emphasis on team-work.
