BF4 4k problems

Just got a new samsung 4k monitor and it's great with games I've tryed with it but bf4 will not go into 3840x2160, it asks if I want to keep theses settings and click on yes but it doesn't allow me to select and then reverts to 2560x1440 any ideas what's going on.

I had this problem but with steam and Win8.1 and went back to Win7

Are you running the screen @30htz or 60htz as this can cause it.

I'm running 60hz display port and win 8.1, all other games are fine just bf4 won't play ball.

Have you enabled 60htz or are you running at 30htz

It's says 60hz in windows and on the monitor infomation .

I'm now reinstalling bf4 to see if it makes a difference but if anyone else has come across this problem and has a fix I would love to know.

Try deleting the bf4 configuration files found in my documents. I had many issues getting bf3 to accept my upgrade to 1440p and this solved it.

Do you have oversample enabled in the BF4 video options control panel ?

Yes, make sure resolution scale is set to 100% or lower to start with.

I've reinstalled it and gone to the video setting and it was automatically on 2560x1440 tryed to change to 3840x2160 and it still won't do it, so help is needed.

All sorted it was the configuration files that needed deleting, thanks for the help
