What kind of FPS can i expect from BF4 maxed out on a 4k monitor using 2 780TI's in SLI ?

My Cpu is a 4.2ghz I5 sandy bridge

I personally never run AA at 4K, It makes zero sense to be honest plus the performance hit is mahoosive at 4K.

This, you simply cannot tell between 0XAA and 4XMSAA.

I would say your looking at a minium of 60FPS with SLI 780Ti's, average sould be around 90FPS, they have the simular performance to my CF290X's in BF4 and thats where I'm at.

cheers guys

what about 1440p ? how many more frames would i gain from that compared to running 4k ?

You should get double the fps @1440p compared to 4K

The above is providing there are no outside bottlenecks like the CPU or poor drivers.

1440p w/ 780ti SLI should be fairly decent FPS I don't really drop below 60 with full ultra on a highly clocked single 780 using the ROG Swift (the drops are API(CPU) bottlenecks more than GPU though).

4K gonna see some drops to around 40fps in heavy action though.

No your not.

Depends on the settings you use - but BF4 with ultra settings (minus AA) at 4K even on a pair of 780Tis is going to drop out in heavy action.

In 64 player server's isn't BF4 CPU bottlenecked or has that performance aspect been fixed (not played it since the original beta)?

nVidia's 340.xx and onwards drivers have optimisations that massively reduce the API CPU bottlenecks and recent update to BF4 have improved performance also, still gonna get some fairly big drops in heavy action though.

Personally ive had it drop into the 40's at 1920x1200 on max settings. In bf4 the quality of the server your on can have quite an impact on fps. Running a pair of gtx 780's here.

Not heard of any CPU bottlenecks in this game for a long time.

Playing Ultra in 4K (no AA) I use Vsync and cap at 59FPS and have honestly never seen it drop under 59 once, I take the limit off and I average around 90fps. There was an issue with explosions and dips but if I recall this was only on AMD cards and was fixed a couple of patches ago, so not a hardware issue.

I would think SLI 780Ti's will play BF4 maxed with ease, it has a fast enough bus speed, the only issue you might have is hitting the memory limit. Some-one else would have to confirm it this happens, I can only pass on my experience with my cards and how even the 780ti and 290x's are.

I don't have SLI but running my 780 clocked at 780ti performance in BF4 with 4K res at ultra settings minus AA in a moderately busy server sees 25-50fps depending on the level of action (ignoring staring at walls and the sky, etc.).
