Hello all, having played the beta of Battlefield 4 I found by checking my FPS looking a certain parts of the map to be around 55fps, my settings were not ultra but everything on High with 4 Times anti aliasing.

If I was to purchase another GTX680 what would the performance increase be?
Is it viable to go SLI ?

My system is
Intel IvyBridge 3770k 3.5ghz overclocked to 4.5ghz
Sabertooth Z77 motherboard
Gainward GTX680 Phantom 4GB
16GB Cosair ram 1600

Thanks all

You'd see a difference, but I'm not sure that would be a wise move. Wait for the full release, which will be better optimised, and reassess.

680 sli would be a nice little boost, i ran a few benches in the beta with factory oc'd gtx 670's. No other oc on them by myself. Results below.

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
10568, 120000, 56, 139, 88.067

1477, 20951, 28, 103, 70.498

The above were ran with ultra settings, 1920x1200, x2 msaa, HBAO on. Cpu in sig. 680's would generate framerates a bit higher at stock, bit more once oc'd. You have a good enough cpu for sli in this game, nicely spaced board for sli. Vram usage for me in the above was 1700mb ono. Also what psu do you have.

Hi and thanks for the replies, I have a Corsair 900wat which I hope should do the trick.

Cheers

Psu will be more than enough. My 670's with a +80/+600 oc pull 586w max from the wall running 3dm11. Total system including monitor.
