Hi All, my current pc spec is:

Intel i7 2600K @ 4.6Ghz w/ Corsair H100i cooler.
Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3P-B3 Motherboard
16GB Corsair Vengance
Running the game off an OCZ Agility 3 (120GB-525r/500w).
MSI Radeon 7990!
SilverStone SST-ST1000-G 1000w PSU
On Windows 7 Ultimate

I'm Getting really low (12-50 MAX) fps most of the time with occasional jumps to over 100 (what I think I should be getting). I was getting higher FPS on my 2x580GTX in SLI.

Playing at 1920x1080@ 144Hz on Ultra, Medium or Low presets (also tried Nicz_dk's settings) and get the same issue.

Do you guys have any other suggestions or have any of you experienced this? I know the game is buggy at the moment but this is crazy.

What I've tried so far to no avail:

  • Latest live and Latest Beta Drivers (Catalyst 13.11 / 13.25.18-131129a-165578E-ATI)
  • Tried a fresh format of Windows & re install of game (twice).

Try flashing your BIOS. It worked for me. Also close your internet browser and see if that helps.

P.s. There is a detailed guide on flashing the 7990 BIOS in the GPU section.

I get a very obvious stutter when the game auto saves. It literally stops then slowly jumps forward and back to normal. This is with 780ti sli! Also does it on BF3

Have you tried benching the card to see if the results are near what other cards get?

How is it with other games?

If those are all fine it must just be with Bf4.

Just ran a 3D Mark 11 benchmark and got [X] 5353 score... seems incredibly low, since looking on the scores the other person who got a similar score was running 2x 580 GTXs! (which is what I actually had previously haha), oh dear!
