Bf4DB: How is this awful system still running

For some unknown reason I started getting kicked from servers due to "Hacking/Cheating". I'm nowhere near as good as Nexus or Josh (

)so clearly this is just ********.

I registered a complaint on their forum back in May and I've had no resolution and still getting these issues.

I need a solution!! It's driving be ****ing nuts!!

The cheat detector has probably corrupted. A reboot should fix it.

Everything related to this game is broken

you don't have any OSDS running do you? Like afterburner.

Also do they have any sort of teamspeak you can invade?

I do have AB running, you think that could cause it?

I know some servers run some scripts to search people's processes to look for anything considered to be a OSD and have in the past detected stuff like fraps/afterburner to be hacks.

In fact I know a few servers now ban rog swift users aswel (not sure exactly how they tell I think some way through a scrip and rooting in system properties) they so this because of the monitors in build crosshair thing. These servers are rare though

I'd definitely be in touch with them! It's always bad getting banned for something you have not done.

It makes me so angry...especially when you consider I've been kicked from 5 servers tonight. I've been in touch and it seems they finally may have a fix but it's not filling me confidence and it doesn't seem to be a concrete fix.

I think what's most insulting is the fact the games anti cheat system is so bad it has to have loads of external third party systems trying to keep the severs clean.

I've stopped playing it with the state it's in. I miss the good old bf2 days

Yes, completely agree! I've gone for months without playing and on revisiting for a few weeks I realise why i stopped playing...lol

Have you looked at Squad or PR:BF2?

Random servers shouldn't be able to on BF4 AFAIK - not sure about BF4 but in other games PB allows the server host to pull a limited number of client variables (ingame variables) but shouldn't be sending any running processes information to 3rd parties.

I used to assist as a admin on a server on bf3&4 and the information that was gatherable by there setup was frankly concerning! It was possible to check people's process list and later down the line was also able to take screen caps of there game to visually check if they were running esps or whatever they are called nowadays!

I'm not sure if this was allowed to be done, but it was certainly possible!

SQUAD is built on UE4 is newer and based on BF2 with a project reality mod from what I can gather...live stream starting here in a few mins...looks right up my street but with the issues I've had buying games from the start (bf4) I'm not 100% convinced

I hear that they seem to not care about releasing a finished game now. The words alpha, beta and early access on games is now the main reasons I don't buy a lot of games as won't play them anymore unless they are full release!

Il take a look at Squad for sure

if it's anything like bf2 I'm already interested :cool:
