Ive had BFBC2 for quite a while now and it had many a fault with it.
Im one of the few who hates the FoV on BFBC2. Its rubbish and makes gameplay difficult.
Along with the really dark shadows i get and the silly lighting.
Im constantly changing the settings.ini file but it only helps a little.
For 6 months the ping is now really bad. Ive tried so many tweaks and changes but it doesnt help in-game.
I dont know how poeple can see so far into the distance! I struggle with the views!
I've done research for quite some time now and i've found people who seem to have one or two of the issues i've mentioned. Im one of those really rare people that suffers from ALL of them!
Nope. There is no fix for the above. Ive researched and researched some more.
I mean, some servers I play in, people have like 40+ kills in a rush round. Death ratio being something like 12.
I find that absurd! Never have I performed so bad in an FPS game. I average 8 kills with deaths about 18.
Having watched the BF3 videos, it doesnt seem like much has changed. The gameplay is the same. Im not sure how they will tackle hackers.
For those of you who play BFBC2, even servers that stream PBBans, PB and whatever else, you still see blatant hackers. They spam the chatbox and get like 100+ kills lol.
Anyway, i dont feel like playing a game that is so similar to BFBC2 simply because of the troubling times ive had with the game.
So im probably going to try my hand at MW3. I've only ever played CoD 1 so MW3 will be my 2nd CoD game. I care not for the SP.
I do have some really good days in BFBC2, ive earned nearly all my badges and im on Level 30 ATM. Ive got all guns and gold srars too. So I can do well sometimes, but the consistency just isnt there.
