BFBC2 Performance issues and NVIDIA

As I mentioned bring the performance of BFBC2 from 270.61 drivers, cause 275.33 has 30-40% decrease, that's why I jumped on 270.1 after testing 275.33

The gameplay of BFBC2 with drivers 275.33 and 275.50 is terrible. The fps dropped significantly.

So true. Bad Company 2 has some weird performance issues for me, 270.61 did MUCH better. I hope nvidia fixes this because I play BFBC2 a lot, but need the new fixes in the newer drivers as well.

I'm going to go back to the 270.61 especially as my core game is bfbc2

Marvin it's an issue with BFBC2, Vietnam is perfectly smooth according to many

Ah, that might be why then. Bit odd given that everyone 'has' the Vietnam update, so presumably the core code is the same.

Vietnam was made by the guys who made medal of honor, bfbc2 was not

MOH imo was a brilliant game, but it's marmite lol

Yeh i'm going back to the 270.61's, seems like there are some issues that need to be resolved in these 275's!. 280's are due in July

Been running latest drivers with a 560, no issues what so ever. What's all the fuss about?

Well Nvidia have found the issue so there is something going on , don't know who it affects and what cards yet

Im on a 460 1gb and have had the screen turn white sometimes recover able somettimes not even task manager can appear.

That's what i had today before it CTD!

Just ticking Custom Install then ticking the Clean install box does the trick now, no need for any driver cleaners either. I was running the 275's previously and just used the 270.61's install with the above method, bfbc2 ran very well last night compared to the 275's

well i have rolled back massive improvement in bfbc2 and my m8 has done the same and he gets higher frames in metro and crysis without it crashing on him now.thanks for the headsup.

Same as, noticed a good improvement right away

Played nearly 2hrs of BFBC2

No performance loss, Stuttering or CTD's

Sticking with the 270.61's
