just got this put kids to bed sat down to play and it has a 1752Mb patch FFS

PSN network is ds slow 65 mins on my 15mb line grrrr

anyway is PS3 BFBC2 still active online?

It is very much on XBOX mate, so i dont see why it shouldnt be on PS3.

Yes very active on PS3 although a lot of people have moved over for their annual dose of Call of Duty.

Vietnam pack is out soon with more free maps from the original game so you should see them flooding back.

I wouldn't be surprised if the patch actually contained the Vietnam data files. Then when it's released on 21st Dec, you'll buy a small file to unlock them.

I have a feeling the patch is the free 1943 game I get with it but I don't want to play that , lol guess I will just play BFBC2 on my pc then ( although the study is cold)

No the BF1943 game is totally separate. You enter your code to download that from the store.
