hi there, ive been getting a lot of missing graphics in this game is this normal or something going wrong???

heres a link hopefully to a screen shot i took in steam....

they are quite big.......

its making the game unplayable

Verify game files in Steam and try reinstalling display drivers, also beware of any gfx overclock, as BC2 can be a bit picky.

As above but if not you could be overheating or your graphics card is on the way out, You sure its only BfBc2?

Try something else recent that will work your card

Artifacts big style there

Edit, is that a mumble overlay? try run it without that, as clean as you can and update drivers

^this, solved my BC2 problems by changing a few things which included putting my clocks back on gfx, it could have been fixed by one of the other things I tried but I'll never know

Mumble overlay has never given me issues, but it might be worth a try.

Definitely see if the gfx card is overheating.

I used to get a few lock up and BSODs until I cleaned out my card HS and fan.

Just looked at those screen caps, looks vram related... heat or buggered card? you need to see if other games are affected!

Also what graphics card are you using?

thanks for the replies.....

just verified game cache and seemed fine , but did notice steam saying it had just finished downloading bfbc2.......

reinstalled driver again......using nvidia latest for my card gtx295

and theres no overclock on the card......

the temps on the card seem to be around 85- 90 when this starts but it so intermittant.....its not there all the time , but when its there , it makes the game unplayable.......

i played l4d2 , portal 2 , dods , tf2 and it was fine will have to try it on moh......

just seems this game, but this game is mostly all i play lately.....

Those temps are fine, if I want to keep my PC quiet I'll fix my fan speeds about 65%, the card will hit 95ish (280GTX). Some of the newer Nvidia drivers cause issues with BC2 so try rolling them back, but I think that really does look vram related!

In the last image it looks as though someone just coloured it in in paint. Unlucky to have this problem

Try underclocking your card and see if it happens then. I know you said it wasn't overclocked. But maybe it was factory-overclocked.
