could you be a little more vague please?

(that's someone else's line, not mine.... :p)

is this a new/old setup? if old, has this just started happening recently? what about single player games? have you tried other games? tried patching the game? what game is it? latest drivers? system specs? etc.... :)

that memory readding is wierd:
what version of forceware do you have...? (it is a problem with one of the recent ones) there is a thread lurking somewhere

it just started happening tonight, it a new install of windows xp home, with lastest drivers from Nvidia.

The game is Black Hawk Down so it abit of an old game (but i like it).

Strage thing is when I start 3DMark06 details show it only running at 1.1ghz

do a reinstall of the drivers and see if they pick up the correct ram speed. i read about this on other forums and a driver reinstall sorts it out.

I had the same problem with my bfg 7800GT just a week or 2 ago when I installed new drivers , I just un-installed them and re-installed and it was ok then.

Sorted. latest forceware from Nvidia is 93.71, gone back to previou drivers 91.47 and it seems to be ok with a proper mem reading.
