4-5 starts into windows the monitor auto adjusts itself and I end up with a really blurry desktop (seems to be just TXT), tried dell drivers, doesn't stop it. Returned to Plug un play, still does it? Any ideas? Doesn't do it in XP64 bit, just 32bit XP? Also why wont the GFX card run at stock speeds? I have to back it off 580/575 and 1.75/170, otherwise i get sparklies in game, 42 at idle over 60 in games? I just installed new bios 1103: pc restarts saying DRAM is at 500(on post screen), pc wont boot like this, I have to put the limit of 200mhz on before it will restart(400 on post screen), ive put the nb-sb frequency upto 255mhz, multiplier is 4. Up'ed the cpu clock speed to 255x10multiplier. Should it run at DRAM 500? If my understanding is correct the sb-nb is the multipier of the DRAM speed to give the HTT of 1000mhz? (DRAM 500x2=1000) If this is so the DRAM @ 255x4=1020mhz? Should I up this more? What should I be doing to get the most out of this PC? Also idle temp of cpu is about 47, goes upto 58ish under load, Mobo is about 34 at idle gets upto 40+ under load. Is this high? To hot? Heat issues? Ive reseated the cpu, with addition of artic silver, temps are the same. Got some 120mm fans on order to try to increase case air flow.... any ideas would be great! Cheers Deano
