Recently been seeing texture oddities in Trackmania Nations and Battlefield 2 (attached), should I be concerned?

Don't think it's driver related because I've been on FW 97.92 for almost two months and only in the last week or two the glitches have been noticed.

Did try a search here and in other forums for any similar issues without much luck.

It's.. er.. a coughhipercough (long story).

Please don't shoot me :(

Could that really cause duff textures?

I also have some glitches in BF2 in the form of big triangles but i think is something to do with the shaders. They appear mainly when flying a plane and not very often. Have you tried to reinstall the game?

I also notice that sometimes the fraps going down (more often playing commander) making the game almost unplayable.

I hope formating the HD (expecting new mobo) and reinstalling everything will solve them ;)

I am also suffering with "glitches" in BF2, there were massive triangles appearing, and severe slow down when i moved - Not my ping as this was the lowest on the server!

I turned off all the advanced GPU features in the control panel, (application controlled on) and this seemed to solve it, last night was playing half life 2 at 1920 x 1080 and it was perfect (zooming around on that little boat thing) then TRIED to play some BF2, and it was so jerky, i had to stop!

No idea what this new issue is, guess i should try reinstalling the game and patches....

Really getting fed up of the BF series, and all the issues i appear to encounter! i am now wondering if the game itself could have been BUILT better!

Nothing wrong with the Battlefield series, been playing them games for years on various Nvidia gfx powerd systems & never had weird stuff happen... :)

As have i with no problems whatsoever!

Maybe its Vista, maybe its the drivers that are not quite ready, however this is the only game that i get any kind of problems with!
