BFG 8800gt RMA Customer service not good

My 8800gt gave me no video signal at boot after freezing.

I RMA'd no probs.

They sent me a new card which had a tested sticker on the bag. It stuck it in and booed up. There was a horrendous noise from the card as the fan scraped the casing. Can't have been tested very well

Anyway, I contacted them and the American cutomer support desk said thay'd hand it over to the UK one. That was on Wednesday, and I haven't heard anything.

Pretty lame 10 year warranty if you ask me...

No games for me.

fact they took the card back again should speak volumes and pretty fast aswell, get on to them they are pretty good usually and your ten year warrenty is all good if you get a new one back so whats the problem?

Did it cross your mind that it might've been a one-off error?

BFG is pretty renowned for having good CS. If you think they're bad, try XFX.

i admit it could have been worse...antec is based in the NL so if you want to RMA something ...well its hardly worht the postage

my card was an oc version and i think they sent me plain vanilla as replacement. can you tell from the outside?

OC versions always have a blue sticker on the fan AFAIK.

Well don't make it a 360 3 red lights repair would give you nightmares.
