Woke up this monring switched system on and it didn't boot into windows which I thought was odd. I'd had no problems or hints at an incoming disaster at all recently. Rebooted again and this time the monitor just wouldnt give any signal. Had a fiddle around and did the famed viewsonic reset* which fixed it but upon starting up again I had artifacts all over the bios and windows. It's looking like an RMA jobby right now but I just wondered if anyone had experience.

Windows will only start in safe mode, the artifacts persist thru bios and windows.

viewsonic* reset is plugging DVI and DSUB into monitor to wake it up out of standby mode. Had to do this a few times before and it always worked with no side effects.

thought it had fixed itself, installed the latest drivers and all the artifcats dissapeared from screen, rebooted and it was all absolutley fine loaded into windows no problem. Soon as I tried to run 3d mark it blue screened and I'm back where I started.
