hey guys was wondering which one of these two would be the best to go for ?

BFG GeForce 6800 GS OC 256MB or PowerColor ATI Radeon X800 GTO 256MB

First, i will assume you mean AGP!

The PowerColor ATI Radeon X800 GTO is selling for £152.69.
The BFG GeForce 6800 GS is selling for £164.44 (on sale).

The 6800GS is the faster card & with only £12 difference i would suggest the 6800GS is the better buy.
