BFG GeForce 9800 GX2 1024MB Size?

Hello, I'm interested in purchasing the BFG GeForce 9800 GX2 1024MB at some point, The one thing that puts me off is the random sizes that i seem to be coming across when i search around.

If it is what OCuK say it is, it won't fit in my case (Thermaltake Shark), which is why i'm not sure about buying one or not. If there is anyone here who happens to have one and can measure it that would be great.

They are 10.5 inches long.

Get the ATI X2 instead - much better value for money.

Huh are you sure? that's about 265mm, that would make it smaller than the 8800GTX. :/

I think he would know, I mean he's probably used to handling something of that size

I can measure one at work tomorrow, but I think they're about the same length as the GTX.

According to OcUK, they are a lot longer, at 295mm!!....

Note: This card is 295mm in length so make sure it fits in your case!

Yea i've seen that.. It's a BFG GX2 just the same as OCuK, how can there be such a jump in length.

According to OcUK, they are a lot longer, at 295mm!!....

I just googled it, and opened three links, all said 10.5inch (I thought that the 512MB GTS was smaller than a GTX anyways; meaning that becasue it's just two bolted together

Just checked it here at work - the GX2 is the same length as a GTX - just looks bigger due to the cooler.

Excellent thanks, so what Ocuk says on the 9800GX2 section is actually wrong, that might need changing at some point. lol

Its the outer casing and the cooler thats longer on the GX2.
