That was just part of their service, its really something thye have to do if theyve not got the exact model in stock that needs replacing. Other companies like evga do the same thing.
 
More likely they don't have anything to sell.

No new nvidia SKU's are being made at the moment because they EOL'ed the 2 series cores.

BFG will be back with Fermi.
