BFG oc 8800gt prob

just got it a week ago and playing COD4 tonight the screen went all stripey,I rebooted and it was ok, then later playing again after a bit it went mauve.

Any ideas?

Monitoring to see what your temps are hitting when the corruption/discolouring occurs?

im watching it as best i can,I have to reboot though when it happens but generally the card hits between 60 and upper 70's,at the mo its 65

just tried the nvidia stress test on the card,the temp remained around 61 but the test keeps locking the pc up after about a min.

If it were me, I would remove the cooling and make sure it was reseated with good contact. See if anyone else has any ideas, possibly driver issue?
