BFG or POV 8800GTS

Ok, i guess it's been asked before, but just wanted a quick and final answer.

I am looking at ordering a GTS over the next day or so and would like to know if its worth going for the more expensive BFG or saving the cash and going for the POV?

Get the cheapest, they will be identical except for the sticker on the heatsink and warranty. You need to order today though to get the this week only price.

The BFG and EVGA cards always resell for more than the Generic cards because of their really good RMA service. I would never buy a Generic graphics card again unless it was really cheap. The EVGA ones also have the step-up programme, although this can be a bit carp as EVGA always seem to want too much for the upgrade.

tbh who wouldnt register within a year.

i get ****** of at Zotacs for 5 years if reg within 2 weeks and EVGAs within 1 months

Where BFG excessively shines though is their warranty policy. In the USA you receive a life-time warranty, outside the USA you'll still have ten years warranty.

Is that incorrect? 10 years in the UK ?

Correct, they cannot give lifetime warranty in europe due to some EU regulations. They give 10 years instead - long enough!
