hey guys, ok nearly finished the build, only i'm a bit confused as to how i power this thing.

on mu PSU I have 2 x dedicated PCI-e power sockes/leads but the PSU is supposed to be SLi ready, however the BFG card looks like it takes two PCI-e power leads?

On the BFG user guide it only shows 1 power socket to plug in?

the pin sockets are labeled J6 & J7 Do I plug power into both power sockets?

How can My PSU be SLi ready if it only has 2 x PCI-e power points and each card takes 2?

I'm not sli'ing so it isn't an issue but I don't want to damage anything so need confirmation if i do plug both power leads in or only one. and if so which one!

Thanks

Because it's SLi ready for cards that don't require 2x PCI-E power connectors I'm guessing, and only one card requires that which is a 8800GTX I think, GTS doesn't afaik.

Thanks for coming back so quickly.

Are you saying that my card doesn't require both PCI-E powers or it does? Do I plug both powers into the video card. The manual only shows one 6 pin but the card has two 6 pins and there are two adapters supplied requiring four 4pin powers.

Yes you plug both connectors into the card , your psu was sli ready for single connector nvidia cards before the 8800gtx came out thats all , as was mine.
Have fun with your new rig and Merry Xmas :D
