BFME2 or C&C3?

As title really. I have C&C 3 but find it really basic for what it is. I get the impression Battle for Middle Earth 2 would be infintley more epic and generally engrossing.

Anyone have any views on this? I'm thinking of baying C&C and picking up BFME2 collectors edition for about £22.

BFME is just as basic, it's more or less the same but with LOTR stuff.

I'm still tempted though. C&C 3 seems to be all about Shadow troop rushes atm and the single player just isn't doing anything for me.

You can counter Shadow Troop rushes with a few turrets, and then make some bikes/buggies/something that sees stealth.

BFME2 was pritty great also. nice playing if you like the LOTR films

I would put them on par with each other. But BFME2 has the cooler units and heros

Oh it's not the counters I have the problem with it just seems to be the same old affair time after time.

I played about three games of C&C 3 and never gone back to it yet.

i get shadow rushed all the time, its scary but quite easy to deal with by the time u got some units out. they usually kill one of my refineries but with the hit their economy has taken by rushing for the shadows, i have the better income anyway. if your scrin then a couple of seekers will do the job. there is pretty much a unit to counter everything so if ** complaining about losing to the same strat over and over u really need to pick up the manual.

BFME2 is better IMO, C&C games are getting really old, really fast, and everyone loves them! :mad:

i have C&C3, played it twice and through 'screw this' and slapped supreme commander on instead

If you want a good in depth Strat game look at supreme commander, awesome game, infact I wonder how many new units and or maps have been built now *takes a look see whats happening in the SC world*

theres quite a few good maps been added recently for supreme commander, including some TA metal maps!

eagerly awaiting some new units, there are some T4 units knocking around, there just bigger versions of T3 assault bots, but there pretty neat, the aeon get there four legged assault bot, but it actually looks pretty powerful now, not that tiny little thing

No, its got this extra dragon , a bonus dvd and some cool maps apparently.

Love BFME2, got Witch King yesterday. Cant wait to get around to playing it (goddamn work).
