31" on a 16" frame.......;(

id say try an 18" and start from their, you might even find the 20" slightly more comfortable as your "1st good bike",

as for the giant revel, its the best selling bike in our shop both male and female.

Cheers for your help fellas gonna go to Evans cycles in Leeds to have experiment with what size frame I need, that way I can be sure on what size I feel comfortable with.

OS maps do put most stuff to shame. But the Garmin Topo wasn't too bad over in the UK when I used it. In the US there's so many free maps you can get as well as the Garmin ones.

I love my 705.

Just remember you can get very good free maps online or you can "find" the Garmin ones.

This is a very good free UK map, it's routable (think like a car GPS can route along the roads) and topo.

If you're on a PC you'll use the Mapsource software to plan rides etc.

Thanks 6th/janesssssy/SDK.

Unfortunately my local store didn't have one in stock to try out, but I think I'll probably take the plunge. Just need to find a good deal...

6th is right, the talkytoaster maps are very good one. And love my 705 too. :)

Thanks guys - I'll save the link for later. Managed to find the full enduro pack (w/ OS map, HRM and cadence sensor) for a very good price. Not sure if ill ever use the cadence sensor, but for the difference in price it made sense. Plus i guess if I ever fancy doing some time trialling ill have it to hand!
