Since I have mashed my last 2 big rings I'll probably go double up front. Replacing the big ring costs way too much. I went for the 36T dinner plate cassette option. :)

Just a quickie:

Am I right in thinking that you can upgrade any Hope Pro2 front hub from QR to 15/20mm with right the right spacers/adaptors/bits?

What about Pro3 hubs? I'd imagine its the same?

edit - taken from hope website:

Both wheels are QR and the fronts are supplied with a 15mm conversion and the rear is convertable to 10mm bolt through (NOTE: this hub cannot be converted to 20mm).
Although my front didn't come with the 15mm kit.

Okay well bit of help lads! I use my Bike to cycle to and home from work and has been great for few years.

Now the Bike tyre and only the back tyre is giving me no end of trouble, In the last 2 weeks it has had 3 new inner tubes all of which seem to die instantly now i know im not hitting any glass etc on way their or home i have checked to make sure spokes arent popping through and doing the damage.

It is using Maxis Tyres, Now is it possible something else could be causing it to go all the time? I find it odd as its always only the back tyre never the front. On a side not before the fat jokes no im not too weighty on the back :P

Bike is Reebok Power 24-speed Alloy Full Suspension Cycle

Too low a tyre pressure maybe? If you are on the road all the time then get 40plus PSI in there. Carefully run your hand round the inside of the tyre to check for thorns and other foreign objects that may be puncturing the tube.

I hope that helps fatty.

Hahaha not tyre pressure first thing i checked im getting thed up of the thing to point i fancy a new one but i cant afford to spend £350 on another i could stretch to possible £250 if you know of any good places to get bikes from ?

£18.89 from a store called "woollyhatshop" on ebay, probably could have found cheaper but the guy had really good feedback and the price was similar to the alligator cable set i was looking at :)

I got my Jagwire ripcord cable from him :)

probs just crappy tyres

line up the inner tube with the wheels valve hole (after you take the tyre off)
where is the puncture? if its on the outside of the tube then your tyres are thin and are getting punctured easily
if the hole is on the sides / inside - look at the hole
single hole is likely to be spokes sticking though too much, two holes (a snakebite) is from low tyre pressure and / or bashing it into a kerb etc
