My Endura Baa Baa is good for keeping you warm, I do find it a bit itchy when you first put it on, but once you're riding its ok.

Not noticed the sizing being particularly small, but then they are supposed to be a tight fit?

Yes it is. It's what bike shops use. :)

Just found out that the Moray Monster Trails are in danger of not being supported by the FC due to lack of use. This could mean removal of all man made features. :(

If you have ever been, fill out this:

It's a shame. The trails are never going to have a huge amount of visitors because of the location. Some great riding there too.

Finally got out for a decent ride, despite 16" of snow in the past week I made the most of dirt roads and hunting out the climbs. 45miles, 5300ft of climbing.

Impressive! Where about was that photo taken?

Puts my 14 miles of wet muddy trail riding to shame. Managed to test out the High Rollers though, and they were excellent!

Did cannock chase for the first time last week.Loved it ,shame it was very wet and boggy though.

Follow the dog red seemed very short to me though ... how many sections are there?

Also the lower cliff bit of the monkey trail you pass section nine to get to section one i noticed there was two other tracks leading down the hill towards the barrier.which part are they?

Thanks

You may of done exactly what I did, miss the monkey after crossing the road, then going straight up the lane to lower cliffs.

I missed about 8km out. :(

Yeah after the first bit I went left down the road across the railway line and passed section nine ,should I have gone right and not crossed the railway line?

Heres a vid:

After the first bit you see me heading down the road towards the line where i cut the video to the lower cliffs bit.

Trying to take that photo was funny, balancing the camera on a rock in the wind and then only having 10 seconds to get across in shot through the deep snow. As the crow flies Manhattan would be 37miles behind my back.

Bike is comfy for the two 5 and 6 hour rides I've done on it so far, no shoulder discomfort or saddle issues. I broke my old favourite MTB saddle which had been good for up to 12 hours on rides, but this WTB Silverado seems to agree with me on these couple of shorter rides. I haven't ridden with the rigid fork on anything technical yet as there's too much snow. But then I haven't built this bike for technical terrain, just for racing off road > 100 miles a day for 25 days in a row :D

Looks like you did the same as janesssssy.
After the rail and road crossing you should turn right.

The track with the barrier is 2nd right, you want the one before that which leads past a house and to a steep climb 50 meters on the left.

Thanks

Your garmin link is working now:) Heading back this week so will re-do the monkey as it looks like we missed loads.

From your log do you do the whole dog/monkey non stop apart from the rail crossings/slow riders.etc?

A little map to clarify the route :)

Yellow - The route I'm guessing you did
Green - The way you should go
Black - The path with the gate you saw but also shouldn't use
