Why the confusion, sounds like he is running SRAM X0 shifters for front and back, X0 rear mech and a Shimano XT front mech. Same as me except i now have SLX front.

I was under the impression Rob that SRAM and Shimano use different ratios (Shimano being 2:1 and SRAM 1:1).
Maybe the new SRAM stuff is compatible.... ???

Only the rear Mechs are different between shimano and sram, fronts are the same always have been.

Numbered SRAM shifters such as x5/7/9 won't work with Shimano. Other 'named' ones will work - think its attack? Is one of them

Will be taking this ... with a couple or so spec changes (Deemax, 77 Designz stem, Renthal bar)

On that note, Ive bought the bloody stem, but cant find it anywhere in the house. My wife's also had a look... gone, so I'm hoping I can find it soon as!

Yeti have been using that for a while on their DH bikes, can't say I'd be keen on it though.

Haha, yea it's propper lightweight... but solid as my c*ck though.
Two of my mates have the same one, and I love the really wide bar clamp area on them.

anybody have the fox striker helmet?
i received mine today i have tried it on , it looks good and is comfy, it's not what i was expecting i thought the back bit would come further down, i'm half tempted to send it back and go for the flux.

I tried the striker recently (forgot about that one) and really liked it. The fit was good, it looked nice but I too noticed the back could have used more coverage...wasn't a deal breaker for me but I did think the Flux offered slightly more protection

You would make more splitting it down and selling as parts, but as a whole 1k-1.5k if someone really wants it.
