what oil do you guys use?
what do you think of finish line dry spray oil?
i've been using the wet bottled oil and it picks up to much dirt in dry conditions.
I use and get it from Bike Tart

The forks are Post mount (74mm from eye to eye), so one of the K18 calipers will bolt directly to that, but you'll probably need an adaptor depending on the size of the disc. You may need to use some washers to space it out correctly so the pads and disc line up.Hi, back and checked:
Marzocchi MZ Race.
I see Gwin is a gnats nut off 3 seconds quicker at Windham than anyone else on the training session... Can anyone actually get close to this guy ??

The rear caliper will need an PM (Caliper) to IS (Frame) adaptor. What size discs are you running back and front?
Here's the two explained clearly enough: Click Me
NOTE: I'm assuming your frame has IS brake disc mounts at the rear?
Hi, many thanks for your help so far.
Front and rear come with 160mm discs and state IS mount.
My frame is IS mount for rear brake.

(eBay number if from there)
Do the calipers state IS mount? To my knowledge the K18's are ONLY Post Mount, like this: (note the caliper bolt holes) K18
Post a pic of the brakes, or link to where you got them(eBay number if from there)
Soon as we confirm that the calipers are IS/PM you can order the necessary mount adaptors. Did the brakes come with any?
Ok, the caliper is PM (Post Mount) and it has a PM to IS (International Standard) 160mm adaptor.
It looks like the brakes (assuming you bought from merlin) come with 2 160mm discs and 2x 160mm PM to IS adaptors (1 Front, 1 Back).
Because your forks are Post Mount, you should be able to just bolt the caliper to the fork. It should fit flush to line up with the 160mm disc, you may need a washer or two to get it perfect.
Formula don't sell a PM-PM 160mm Front adaptor so it should fit without an adaptor.

Just had some Lizardskins Northshore Grips turn up. They suit the bike very well, but unfortunately the diameter are much thicker than I need which means my hands don't feel right on them so they're being returned.
If you have larger hands (I recently tried some Giro gloves and seem to be in the L to XL sizing - L seemed about right although the gloves felt a little short on the fingers.) than myself, or like to feel like there's something more there, they'd be ideal. They're very grippy, can't really comment in terms of comfort though!
Not a lost moment mind as I ended up cleaning my bike. Pics will follow when I get around to uploading them.
Also, I used a bit of WD40 over my chain and crank, that should be okay shouldn't it?
