Hey guys, i've had a look through the forum and can't find any threads that answer my question, so I've made my own.

I'm looking for a replacement case as my Antec Sonata is on it's last legs.
I want something black, with enough space for 3 HDD and a decent level of cooling suitable for a gaming rig output etc (I don't overclock really).

I'm not looking for an all singing all dancing L.E.D riddled jobby, just one with some front mounted USB ports, audio connecters etc and a nice understated look.

My budget is around £80 but definately no more than £90.

What suggestions do you have?

Is the front fan not just blocked by the PSU?

I'm just not sure if it'll be a tad too cramped?

Ah yeah, just did a google.

So it's not too small then?

I've got a big CPU cooler with 80mm fan on the side, 3HDD's, Hyperpower PSU, Sound card, graphics card, LAN card and a USB bus. I just don't want to have too much hardware for a smaller case that'll cause it to get too hot.

What's it like for sound?

Not mine, as I don't have one. I have the G50 which is a similar size and temps are fine. Because of the smaller size the air is generally replaced quicker, meaning temps shouldn't be that bad.

They have two HDs, the tuniq tower, an 8800GTX etc. with passive northbridge so temps must be ok.

Hmm, that does look nice a neat.

Obviously Lian Li build quality is good....hmmm.....

Is that case particularly tidier than normal? He doesn't seem to have many power cables poking out from places and his IDE / SATA cables are very short by the looks of things?

It does seem to be quite tidy, although that's probably because there is quite a bit of space behind the HDs to hide cables I think.

The only other option really worth considering would be an Eclipse if you already have fans.

I am thinking of getting one myself actually, my G50 is nice but I have practically bodged it so the layout is like the A05, may as well get the real thing (they stole my ideas :p)

I had a Lian-li case about two years ago that looked exactly the same xcept the larger one and it rattled all the time, is this normal cause I don't think ill get one again if it is.

I have the G50B and don't have any problems, afaik none have been reported for the A05 either. My PC-7 did used to rattle a tiny bit, but nothing that a piece of blu-tac on the side panel wouldn't fix.
