BIG BOX INC SOON!!

The Asus "amazing bios" is a bit of a non starter.

With Asus's own 'GPU Tweak' utility, voltages can be increased:

Btw can the 7970 be overvolted yet? I recall reading in the latest Custom PC mag that MSI's advert for their 7970 3GB is the only one/first one that allow voltage tweaking or something.

Yup as far as I am aware all of the reference HD7970's can be over volted (thanks to identical VRM's - Volterra something or other).

MSI afterburner can be used on ANY HD7970 to increase volts. This isn't something unique to Asus or MSI.

My Powercolor HD7970 has voltage control.

Asus GPU tweak just looks like a re skinned MSI afterburner (probably is just like EVGA precision).
