Hey Folks so i have my new Build built which consistes of a R7 1700,GAMING K7,16GB Trident Z RGB and a 960 EVO 500gb drive and it is running great :)

im just using a second hand HD 7850 2gb atm and im getting around 40fps on medium settings playing Destiny 2 with my Ultrawide Monitor :(

Now i have been waiting to get a RX VEGA 56 Either a Aorus or Strix card but seeing as there still not released and there expected to be very overpriced i dont see if im going to get one at under 500 pounds

as you can see from my description i have the LG 34UC79G 144hz Ultrawide 2560x1080 Freesync Monitor which i picked up a month ago from OCUK for the nice sum of 390 pounds :)

Now ive seen a GTX 1080 Aorus edition 10gbps Card for less than 500 pounds is it worth just picking that up and not having Freesync and just running it in 144hz or shall i wait till the January sales to see what happens?

Also i want this to last the next 5+ years without upgrading

Thank's for the Reply guys yea i defiantly want a Vega Card to make the most of the Freesync and 144hz I Want to play games at at least High settings with 60fps Minimum and 100fps average my Budget was 400 but have since increased that to 500 Prob looking around January now to get a Strix card or equivalent for under 500?

Yea my Monitor has LFC though with a Range from as low as 50 FPS so don't need to be hitting 144fps the HD 7850 is ok for now but getting around 40 fps on low settings in destiny 2 :(

Also just running it in 60hz atm
