Hi guys please excuse my nooby status, i come to you with a problem. This friday i will be upgrading my computer (more or less everything) and i have my eye on the Asus ATI HD 6950 DirectCU II 2048MB, my case at the moment is a nzxt i bought from a highstreet retailer on the cheap and wont house this card. I will therefore upgrade my case but need one big enough could anyone here lend some advice?

appriciated liam

How big are you wanting to go?
Stay in the Mid-Tower region or go for full tower? Also what is your max budget?

corsair 650d and 700d will be big enough, truly massive cases, houses my 590 with a lot of room to spare

There is no limit to case size but would prefer to stay mid tower budget wise would be change left over from the upgrade budget but could shift some around to allow for more money to be spent on a case. altho dont want to go to overboard but was just seeing what cases are recommended and people have better experience with.

thanks for the swifty replies

He's got about £600-650 total... with the 2500k, a Z68 board (not fully decided), 8GB ram and a 6950 of sorts (depending on offer change tomorrow) his budget is sitting with about 50-100 left over... so we'll juggle around the various bits and see what case he wants, just spoke to him and I think his heart is set on the Lancool!

Would like to thank tom for carrying on this chat while i was away :P thanks for the replys guys have pretty much in my mind got it down to 2 cases just going to have a look at reviews ect so any personal experience with either 690 or lancool would be much appreciated

The Lancool is better made, thicker steel.

More fans fitted as standard.

Includes a side window panel for less than a CM690MKII and a seperate side window panel.

A more tool less design.

The list goes on and on.
