Okay, so i've used the big enter key for quite some time and having just got a new keyboard, i'm finding it hard getting used to the smaller enter key. Trouble is I can't seem to find any keyboards which are in the high-end bracket that include the big enter key. It's only the cheap, low end models which have the big enter key.

I know the smaller enter key is a godsend for programmers as the backslash is directly above it, but not being a programmer I'd prefer to still have the big enter key.

If you look at the picture below the keyboards have the big enter key, but upon visiting the official websites the enter keys are small?

They must make different versions, or perhaps they stopped making versions with the big key as more people prefer the smaller enter key?

It's not a question of whether I can or can't get used to it, I simply don't want too as I prefer the larger enter key.

The new Logitech G15 keyboard has a big enter key, I've got one :)

On the subject ... The person that made a 'normal width' backspace key wants shooting. Old skool double width backspace for the win!

You would have thought with all the obese americans they would give them the larger key for their fat fingers :)

I have a Microsoft 4000(or whatever) UK layout which has a small enter key.

But you all say It's only US layout keyboards that have the smaller one? How much smaller can they be lol ?

Now we just need everyone to conform to the horizontal layout of home/end/del/pgup/pgdn/insert.

Ohhhhhhh No! Noooooo no no no! That layouts just weird =/ We have them at work, granted the keyboards slightly 'shorter' in width..But what the hell :p

Weird...

I had to use a tiny keyboard at work once. It had an enter key twice the size of a normal one, and the rest of the buttons were tiny. I think it was supposed to be a children's keyboard.

Top be honest, typing wouldnt bother me...

But gaming on the other hand, when I used to game with the arrow keys, It would have annoyed me.
