Hey guys,
Just got myself a new system, just wondered what you thought of it!
Be honest.

2x2GB OCZ PC2-6400 DDR2 Gold@800Meg

Win7x64 Pro

Considerably less than £500. ;)

What do you use SSD for, putting the OS on?
The board doesn't do DDR3 as far as I know,
might keep an eye out for another 2GB or so as I go.

just buy a ssd and you have one sweet pc.

they are used to run windows and games, massive speed improvements.
 
No bad :)

I upgraded my system with the OCZ 60GB SSD and I put windows on this drive and drivers and 1 or 2 small programs, I have Samsung 1TH F3 for every thing else.

are the HDD's in RAID config?

yeah most people with SSD tend to use it for their OS and stuff, but if you already have RAID setup you may not benefit from it a whole lot.

take my opinion with a pinch though... i'm not the most clued up on these things :/
 
they were in RAID yeah, RAID 0 but I didnt want it like that.
Had a PCI Raid SATA card but i took it out and jacked them in SATA on the mobo cos i would rather have 2 separate drives.

i might look into SSD but i have no more cash at the moment.
is windows miles faster on a SSD?
how about if i just get a SSD big enough for 7 cos i havent installed it yet
then put games on one disk and docs and media on another?
