Really at a lose with an IBM ThinkPad T40 Laptop I purchased.
Did a reformat using an Nlited version of windows.
First I noticed all my components and displayed as drivers missing in device manager so I could not connect to the new to get all updates etc.
So i downloaded the Ethernet driver from IBM via my PC and installed it. The installer runs but the ethernet is still displayed as drivers missing
I also copied over a few other files (battery monitor) and again, the installer runs fine but after it is complete nothing happens.
