I reinstalled Windows 7, everything went fine until I actually logged on. There seems to be no drivers installed, there doesn't seem to be any drivers on the computer which means I cannot connect to the internet.

The USB ports have no drivers, the graphics card has no driver, I don't have a CD for it either. The resolution won't go past 1280 or something.

There is a Windows.old folder on the first partition and all of my data is still on the second partition but nothing will work.

Any know what to do? I really need the internet to work first so I can start updating but the ethernet & USB ports won't work.

Kind of need desperate help right now! (I'm typing this from my secondary computer)

Thanks

What drivers? The computer which I'm using now is old. The new one is completely new build.

I have no clue what drivers to get for the USB ports/ethernet etc

I don't know which drivers to get, even if I do get them, how do I put them on the new computer if it won't recognise any USB devices?

How the hell have you managed to install Windows 7 on a machine and not have any drivers work? I have installed 7 on stuff older than my Mum and it had drivers to make USB and the Internet go. Very odd.

As for which drivers, simple - find your motherboard model and download the drivers for Windows 7 64. How to get them on your PC: burn them to a CD.

Not sure haha, I went into device manager and most of the items there were yellow. I've managed to transfer the driver for my wireless adapter via an external hard drive, just installed 350MB worth of updates with Windows so hopefully that fixes everything. Restarting now to find out!
