Big problems with receiving e-mail with vista windows mail

I cannot receive hardly any of my e-mails with vista windows mail...

It starts to download them and then it just stops..as in the pictures below...
(Am not running any anti virus software...)

Any help with this problem Please

well that message is telling your there is a problem with the server. can you try another email-client just to rule that out.

Yes...If i dual boot to windows XP (outlook express) i can receive my e-mails no problem for the same e-mail accounts with the same settings...

i dunno then. i've tested vista mail in the past and it always worked fine (admittedly only tested it with my gmail account).

I remember one my mates was having the same problem about a month or so ago and he had to dual boot to xp everytime to get his e-mail as well...

Am hoping his found a fix by now..I phone him tomorrow and see..

try this. worked for me.

if you go to start menu and go to Command Prompt in accessories. right click on it and run it as administrator then type this..

netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
