Big trouble in little London

So last week my Estate agents went bust and pretty much ran off. A lot of people at my uni are now suffering because it seems they just up went and gone. the landlord did not want us to compensate but he had no choice but for us to pay early rent or he can't let us stay. So me and house mates had no choice. here's the problem. now I don't have enough cash to finish my build (which I was really looking forward to!)

Now I don't have a computer at all and my course relies heavily on computer use.

I have a few parts but I'm in need of Mobo (matx) Ram, Processor, GPU and power supply. most important and expensive parts really.

does anyone know of any EXTREMELY cheap build which will pull me through till the next academic term? I'm talking extremely cheap here. I truly cant afford it even with me working.

Anyone have any spare old parts lying about or suggest a bundle from ebay. I'm talking pentium 4 here..or Athlon if available.

I've got a fair bit of Uni work to get through and I'm stuck for what to do!

I would really appreciate the help.

Thank you.

Edit: If this is posted in wrong place..mods please move it if possible. thanks again

if you've got a screen keyboard and mouse then HP D530 SFF desktops are good solid machines and should be sufficient for coursework needs. They're far better built than the Dell equivalents and use ASUS motherboards. If you do have a look avoid the USFF versions as they suffered from faulty capacitors.

On a certain well known auction site you can pick one with a 2.8GHz P4, 1GB of memory, a 40GB drive and an XP license for £65 delivered. When you're done you should be able to sell it on without losing much.
