My eldest lass just nailed an English degree 1st with honours.

I've never been one to draw attention to me or anybody close to me online, but hell, I'm just so damned proud. Her Mam and me are just normal folk, working class (I'm not advocating that anyone who isn't working class isn't normal!!) but we love our kids and well, just wanna share this

She doesn't know for sure yet. She works part-time at Ikea and they have some cracking opportunities for graduates ... I reckon she should go into teaching as they (as well as the rewarding factors of helping others) can wipe her student loan debt out

If she could do a bit ironing or pick up after herself, that would be a major plus for now
