Bigfoot Killer 2100 & SLI:

You don't want/need the NIC anyway.

Get a router with QoS on it. Said NIC will do nothing when someone else in the house is torrenting away, as far as I am concerned it's a gimmick product.

Wow, first time I heard that the Bigfoot = gimmick product!?!?!

I've only ever heard good things bout it from peeps who either have 1 or considering getting 1.

Although, I have been told that the onboard network card on my mobo is just as good. . .

Gigabyte Z68X-UD7 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

???

Steve,

Seriously killer NIC is 90% gimmick. (There are some niche uses for it, outside of its advertised useage but thats another story for gaming benefits = extremely marginal because it can do absolutely NOTHING for traffic conditions upstream of the physical port on the back of it which is where 90% of the latency, etc. issues with gaming come from).

Christ I just looked at the price.....

You can buy a brand new router with full QoS for that.

For the Bigfoot?

Maybe its not worth it in that case, either way I had no idea it wouldnt work on an SLI config. Still have no real reason why not either?

Only reasons I can think of is that it either takes up physical space preventing 2 GPUs fitting in or plugging it in takes too many PCI-e lanes over preventing the 2nd GPU slot functioning properly.

Ok well I think I would much prefer to have 2x GTX 580 instead of the Bigfoot. . . in that case :p

Thanks guys.
