I've done the best I can with this, hoping for some feedback, will be used for gaming and designing. I'm set on keeping the 930 edition i7 as it comes with its own cooler or whatever. How's this build for a 1.8k budget? I might be getting another 5850 to crossfire, but unlikely. A no for corsair 800D as I don't know nothing about watercooling and aren't too interested in it either. I'm usually one of those type if a component is struggling rather than unlock its potential I just get a better component as I don't want to smoke the chip by accident. I might be able to get this power supply Antec TruePower Quattro 1200 Watt Power Supply Unit for about £110 the reason I'm thinking of this is as I love upgrading and I want a psu that will last for at least a while.

You're right about that, but it doesn't come with a stock cooler does it? Wow that's actually a pretty good fan upto 2200 rpm blimey. Would I have to replace one of the stock fans on case?

Huh?

That titan fenrir cooler is for the OEM i7 920, together they are cheaper than the retail i7 930, and will go past 4ghz if you overclock very easily.

If you want a i7 n got the money. Why don't you get one of the bundles as all the parts go well together n the system will run very fast for you

Not sure why your spending over £300 on a mobo, and close to £300 on a case, and close to £200 on ram but if you have the money more power to you. Personally I would go with a cheaper Mobo and maybe move up to a 5870/ or 2 5850 if its a gaming build.

Thats should do the job just fine I think.

So a really good motherboard really isn't neccessary? Isn't it the brains of a computer?

You also forget to mention that Photoshop is one of your requirements. So you can crop your images.

Any of these suggestions work, lets see your updated version.

Woohoo, will be saving quite a few quid, cheers guys.

Alright, I've decided to get rid of the rampage motherboard, but after reading a few reviews of the ud3r I'm not so sure about it, lots of reviewers say the pcie slots are too close making it hard to crossfire so I'd rather not go for it, instead it's down to these two they seem pretty good:

Asus P6X58D Premium Intel X58
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5 Intel X58
