How many problems can you see here? :o

No cooler unless you are using the stock Intel one, also dual channel ram for a triple channel board.

- Non-80 Plus PSU and a high power rig
- X58, when SB is out
- Dual channel Memory (not that it makes much of performance difference - but if you go for X58 you may as well get a triple channel kit, the price per GB is good).
- Paid well over the odds for the SC version of the GPU to get a tiny overclock

Means nothing? A psu can be not so efficient yet deliver the power when needed, albeit with a little more waste and heat. Looks like a Coolermaster psu though, which is usually crap. No idea on the 700W version, but the 600W was outed as really a decent 450w supply by hardware secrets.

Sorry, I should have gone into more detail. The low efficiency is just one of the things wrong with this PSU. Looking at this review for the 500W version of the PSU, it isn't a great PSU.

Considering the £500+ graphics card, I would definitely have gone with a better quality PSU - this one wouldn't have cost too much more and is much better quality and efficiency.
