Oddly, I find them less unsettling than smaller insects. They're big enough to be pets.
How big could an insect get on Earth today? I vaguely recall it being something to do with air pressure and oxygen content for spiders (I idly wondered one day if D&D-style giant spiders were even possible ) - is it the same for insects?
