Keep looking at/considering this. Currently running 4K x2 @120hz but would rather like single screen if possible, potentially gets me away from being thunderbolt restricted in laptops. DOES need to run on a single USB-C, ideally.

WOULD ideally prefer to be over 1440p. At very least 1600/1800 if not full 2160.

IDEALLY - happy to go a little behind current bleeding edge and land under £1k

I'm using a G9 57" ultrawide which is essentially dual uhd but does not have usb c so you would need a usb c to display port 1.4 adapter as a minimum to get 120hz. It will do 240hz if you can get an adapter for dp 2.0 (and your output device support it)

That's definitely the largest ultrawide format you can buy. The Acer equivalent model has USB-C if that's something you're specifically after, but that and the Samsung model are over your budget for sure.

The other option would be to look at the various 49" ultrawide monitors available, plenty of choice there. Philips and Dell have some with USB-C for instance, and there's also a choice of QD-OLED models in that size if you wanted OLED instead of LCD
