bike cleaning protection

hi guys,

what do you use to clean your bike and protect it from dirt etc?

heard lots of things about acf-50 and so on.

i ask as i dont really have a clue on what to buy and where to start as i havnt cleaned my bike since riding it in october :eek:

what do you suggest, and any tips for a newbie

Rinse, then Muc-off spray all over, go make a brew, jet wash (with caution around seals etc) it off and then finally acf-50 all over. Quick and easy

that was my next question! how safe is it to jetwash, can i go to a carwash place and do it?

Just be sensible don't jet wash things like the chain and where any bearings would be. Also, try not to jet wash to close I took a bit of paint off my exhaust.
