Hi All,

I've seen a bike which seems to tick all the boxes for my wife. The downside is that it's in Cambridge. Initially i was going to drive, but then found that a few couriers would cost about the same as it'd cost me in petrol!

That place works out at £65 and they supply a box ahead of shipping and insure it to the value i need.

Has anyone used one of these companies before? It's a slightly annoying cost as the bike is only ~£450, but ticks all my boxes and would be be ~£900 to buy new.

For anyone thinking of suggesting alternatives, the main criteria is:

Step Through style
Sized to fit a little person (5'2)
Internal gearing. Ideally the Nexus 8, which is the benefit here as most are only the Nexus 7

Have you looked at train times and the "special" sale Advance tickets available to use until around 25th May?

I'm thinking of a day trip to Warminster for £6 each way, plus maybe a day trip to Taunton £8 each way, to climb some bigger hills than I have near home. Usually I have no problems getting a bike spot on trains when I've tried it a few times in recent years, including a few trips with my road bike to Prestatyn.
