Seeing as theres still sales on at the moment..Im guessing it's best to buy it now..than in the summer.
I have a roadbike, since I take cycling serious and commute to work/university and such.
She's not that keen on cycling..but every now and again occasional cycles, on road and off. Places like brighton etc, trying to get as cheap as possible and decent quality.
Hybrid or mountain bike would be more suited?

This seems okay..anyone else got any suggestions!?
Thanks

stay away from bikes with suspension at that price point. There's no way that the wheels on a £130 bike can take the kind of beating that suspension forks might invite.

With such a low budget, it might be better to think about getting a SH bike from ebay or gumtree - you're likely to end up with a far, far better bike for your money.

Don't understand how itll be that bad, the reviews are decent but i'll take your word, can you try find and link me bikes from gumtree or something? and whats SH bike?

You should absolutely get a hybrid or road bike. Don't get an MTB for the road/path riding she's going to be doing.

Also, the item you've linked to is new, it's just from an ebay seller and hence is no better (in fact, probably worse) than the other bikes you were looking at.

For £100 I managed to find a used single speed road bike for a friend that doesn't cycle at all but fancied messing around. Swapping out the brake pads and tyres brought it up to snuff. If she suddenly takes a liking to cycling you can then consider getting something more serious.

Ive looked around gumtree, not many good choices atm, hopefully new sellers will list few bikes in the upcoming weeks. But i have a friend that clears peoples houses out for a living and usually has bikes I could get for about £50-70 that are usually road or hybrid
